Hi, I’m Ania! I’m a mom, partner, adventurer, and love to spend my time solving impossibly hard problems and puzzles.

I’ve been an entrepreneur my entire life, spending more than two decades building purpose-driven businesses that connect community with innovation. That journey has taken me to some of the most remote places in the world, working alongside diverse communities in Central and South America, India and Asia.

Creativity is at the core of my work. I draw inspiration from everything around me, and I thrive on unconventional thinking, whether I’m making something with my hands or finding new solutions in business.

Community has been a central theme in my life. I love creating spaces where people gather, share, and celebrate, and I believe deeply in the transformative power of genuine connection. Building Paloma lets me dream big about making it easier, faster, and more delightful for people to come together.

I’m Bob, a 25-year tech veteran who has gone from enterprise security to startups and back again, starting as a hands-on developer and working my way up from leading small teams through to large multi-site engineering organizations, defining culture and product strategy along the way. But all along, I’d always wanted to start something from nothing and get back to the building blocks.

We started Paloma because we believe in the mission of bringing people together, and we want to make it easier for people to book private parties so that bringing people together gets easier, while supporting the businesses in your community at the same time.

I love making software. I love making well-designed, thoughtful, intentional software that does what it’s supposed to do and then lets people and relationships take over from there.
